The daggers of other European countries in the years between the two world wars often differed in their original form. An example is the dagger of the Danish naval forces, which remained in service after the Second World War.

He had a double-edged blade, the cross section of which was a rhombus. The guard is brass, short, with oval shoulders in cross-section, at the end of which there are balls. The lower part of the handle is a brass hoop with two narrow rings pressed into it, one on top, the other on the bottom of the hoop.

The grip is made of a soft orange material, round in cross section, in its lower part there are two convex rings located one next to the other. Four of the same rings in the middle of the grip, one more – in its upper part; the grip smoothly transitions into a mushroom-shaped tip (the tip is made of the same material). The scabbard is brass, with two bearing rings, covered with a relief ornament. One of its elements was the anchor.
